Public transport network – using the bus
Tenerife has an extensive public transport network. There is a modern fleet of air-conditioned buses know locally as Guaguas, pronounced “wa-wa”. They stop at almost every town on the island. You can get to all the places of interest and beaches.
The bus company TITSA sells discount “Bono” cards for 12 or 30 euros. They offer considerable savings on the normal fare.
