The highlight of the Finca Majadera is definitely the new swimming pool. Here you can relax and make the best of every day of your holiday. For the cooler days there is also an indoor Spa-Jacuzzi, with a Whirlpool. Everyone will enjoy the lovely surroundings here.
Location
Above the small town La Esperanza, in a village named „Las Rosas – The roses“ in a height of 770m lies the cottage La Majadera. With distance to the university town La Laguna, which as well is part of the world cultural heritage and the capital Santa Cruz, you will enjoy tranquillity and privacy. On the other hand it is not far to both of the towns if you wish to go shopping.
The cottage
The typical Canarian Finca was built 150 years ago in traditional style and was recently completely renovated. They tried to maintain the original charm and warm ambience and on the other hand to integrate modern technology that leaves nothing to be desired.
Chimneys, walls from nature stones, real roof beams, fair wooden furniture and loving decoration create an atmosphere, where you will be very comfortable. The kitchens are fully equipped with e.g. ceramic stove top, fridge and freezer, toaster, microwave and kettle. On chillier days, you can switch on the digital central heating.
In the garden, by which the cottage is surrounded, you will find tangerines, lemon trees, avocado trees and fig trees as well as a big barbeque area. The terraces dispose of garden furniture, sun loungers and parasols. From here you can let you eyes wander across the bordering woods namend “woods of hope” and the sea to the island Gran Canaria.

The highlight of the cottage is definitely the Spa-Jacuzzi for up to 7 persons. In a separate small house with panoramic windows, you can enjoy the 37 degrees warm water and the hydro massage, while enjoying the view over the sea. Especially recommendable on cooler days.
El Peral
The Finca consists of two houses „El Peral“ for two persons and “La Higuera” for up to 4 persons.
"The Pear" translates the name of this cottage in English. It consists of a bedroom with two high-quality single beds, a living room, kitchen, bathroom and dinging area.
The built in kitchen and the dining area abut on the living room, which is furnished with a couch, armchair, table and chimney as well as TV and Mini-hi-fi-system. The bathroom disposes of a shower and bathtub.
Blinds separate the two terraces from each other and will guarantee privacy and distance from other guests.
La Higuera
With two bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, a spacious living room and kitchen, La Higuere „The Fig Tree“ offers enough space for 4 persons. The living room is characterized by its wall from nature stones, a chimney and a big dining table for 6 persons. The couches are really comfy.
