The cottage at “Finca Los Vinos” is in a spectacular rural setting above the town of Icod de los Vinos, it is surrounded by a garden with vines, fruit tress and vegetables. On every side there are dramatic views: the majestic mountain, El Teide, a barranco, or gorge, overgrown with palm trees, and the sparkling blue Atlantic Ocean to the north. The secluded location of the cottage ensures a peaceful and relaxing holiday. About 20 metres away there is a natural spring.
In the Casa los Vinos you can live the outdoor life. You can barbecue in the open and sit under the vines on the comfortable garden furniture on the spacious patio. Help yourself to the garden produce - there is nothing better than really fresh friut and vegetales...
Although you can enjoy the peace and quiet at the Casa los Vinos it is not far to the lively town of Icod where there are plenty of shops, bars and restaurants. The beach at San Marcos, which is a protected bay, is only about 10 minutes away by car and there is ample parking. Los Vinos is a perfect start for walking-tours.
This region is famous for its gastronomy. Restaurants offering local specialities such as chicken, rabbit or fish can be found nearby. A baker and a small supermarket can be reached on foot as well.

The house is simply but stylishly equipped. The typical Canarian dark wood furniture compliments the timber-beamed ceiling. A Sat-TV and a stereo is provided.
One of the bedrooms has a king-size bed. The other one has two single beds. The good quality mattresses ensure a good night´s rest.
A sofa bed is available in the living room. Up to 6 people can be accommodated in this cottage.
The kitchenis well equipped: There are hotplates, an oven, a fridge-freezer, plenty of cutlery, pots, pans, plates, a coffee machine, a toaster etc.
The whole living area is approx. 80 sqm.
From time to time the owner comes to look after the garden.
