The main house is designed for two people, and its light filled rooms are ideal for artists, poets or just couples. The first thing to catch your eye is the light-grey natural stone cut and laid into the floor by the owner.
Non-plastered white walls are the main feature of the dining corner, which is furnished with a round table and four light wood chairs. The door opens onto the porch and the open kitchen is also finished in pale wood. Its spacious cupboards and work top will delight the creative cook. Here you will find everything you need: refrigerator, microwave oven, toaster, coffee maker and plenty of cutlery and crockery.
A very comfortable way of relaxing is the black leather couch, which only by looking at it promises cosiness. Parquet and wooden ceilings as well as warm colours and loving decoration create a friendly atmosphere, in which you will feel absolutely like home.
The decor in the bathroom is an interesting combination of grey stone and glass tiles which refract the light in different directions. Even the smallest room is light and airy.
The bedroom has a large double bed, antique bedside tables, ornate lamps and an impressive wooden beamed ceiling. The white mirrored wardrobe gives you plenty of storage space and the whole ambience is bright and relaxing.
Going through the front door you come to a small porch decorated with ficus trees and geraniums. Here you will find two deckchairs, a garden table and enough room to stretch out in the sun. Should it get too hot, you can refresh yourself under the natural shower which hangs from the wall of the house and, for a taste of a bygone era, you can sit on the stone bench at the stone table.

In front of both units there is a large terrace decorated with plants and different kinds of natural stones. Of course it provides seating furniture for four people, to have breakfast with the first sunrays or just to enjoy the day. Should it get too hot, you can refresh yourself with the outside-shower on the terrace.
A small staircase leads from the porch to a second terrace that offers the best panoramic view of the all the houses. From here, your eyes can roam freely over the typical terraced landscape of the Canary Islands, past the rooftops and out to sea.
The surroundings
This zone is recognized for its excellent restaurants and winery. Specialities restaurants with moderate prices are just around the corner. In the popular wine town Icod de los Vinos, you can stop for a bite to eat or join one of the numerous wine tastings. You can visit the oldes dragon tree in the world – the “Drago Milenario”, or just stroll the cosy alleys of this quite village.
In the area around the houses, there are many ways to enjoy nature. You could hike through the wide pinewoods of Tenerife that have their beginning just at your house – or go to the beach “Playa San Marcos” which is very popular with locals as it is still very original. In one of the restaurants, you can enjoy the delicious Canarian kitchen after sunbathing. There is hardly any tourism, but tranquillity and typical Canarian calmness.
